「Origin（起源）」とは、単なる過去を指す言葉ではありません。
表層の「奥」に潜む、見えない何かを探し続けること。
その探求の始まりが、今の私の現在地です。

生まれ育った土地への感覚は、
今では私自身と切り離せない、表現の基盤になっています。


私は古い場所を訪ね、そこに残る時間や気配に触れながら、
それらを画面の中に重ねていくように描いています。

それは特定の場所の記録というより、
自分自身の深いところへ向かう行為なのかもしれません。


感情が強く表に出た筆致を、無理に整えようとは思いません。
その時、自分の中から出てきたものを、そのまま置いてみる
今は、そういう気持ちで描いています。

Origin

“Origin” is not merely a word that refers to the past.
It is a search for the unseen that lies beneath the surface.
The beginning of that search is where I stand today.

My sense of the land where I was born and raised has become an inseparable foundation of my expression.
I visit ancient places, encountering the time and presence that remain there, and paint as if layering them onto the canvas.
Rather than documenting a specific place, it is perhaps an act of moving toward something deeper within myself.

I have no intention of forcing a refinement of brushstrokes that carry strong raw emotions.
I simply place what emerges from within me onto the surface.
This is how I paint today.
